Registration related
If you are a 'New User', you will need to
first Register to create a Member. To register, close this window and click on the 'Register' button on the home page.
Search related
To get a list of Brides or Grooms quickly, use the Quick Search window on the Main page.
Advanced Search
This allows you to
provide other criteria, so that you get a list based on caste, age etc.
Search by Advt. No
If you are interested in a particular
advertisement and know the Advt. No., you can use this option. Click on 'Search By Advt. No'. On the resulting window, enter the
pick Bride or Groom, Advt. No. and click 'Submit'
Photo, Album, Horoscope related
If you have a digital photo on your computer- First post your advertisement.
- Upon completion, you will be given an option to submit your photo.
- You can also log on later and choose from the option 'Add Photo' and submit your photo.
If you have a regular photo
- First post your advertisement.
- You can get a digital photo, by scanning one of your photographs. This facility is usually available at cybercafes or similar establishments. You can also get a digital photo using a digital camera.
- Once you have your digital photo, visit www.oriyamatrimonials.com again, Login and choose 'Add Photo' from Member options
If you would like send photo by post
You will need to have a scanned copy of your horoscope stored on your computer. After posting your advertisement, you will be given an option to submit your horoscope.
You can also log on later and choose from the option 'Add Horoscope' and submit your Horoscope.
Taking your profile offline
If your marriage has been fixed or you simply wish to discontinue your partner search for a while, you can take your profile offline. If you decide to continue your partner search in future you can make your profile 'online' again. If your marriage takes place, you can permanently delete your profile.
Contact related
Members can send messages to any other member. Free members can send only their Ad Id to let another member of their interest. Paid members can send their contact details (such as phone/e-mail) along with a brief message.
To send a message, login using userid/password. Then start searching for Brides and Grooms, depending on your need. To see the details of Brides/Grooms, you will need to click on 'View Profile' or Click on the Advt. No. On the view profile screen, Click on the 'Send Message to Bride' or 'Send Message to Groom' link to send a message.
We have introduced, online contact detail view for Paid members. You can get contact details of other members if you are a paid member. As part of paid membership, paid members get UNLIMITED number of online contact detail views, for your own use. Paid members need to click on 'View Contact Details' link on the view profile screen to get contact details of other members. Look at Member Benefit for full details
Account related
If you forget your password, from the home page click on the forgot password link. You will need to provide the password reminder question and answer. A new passoword will be mailed to the e-mail address provided during account creation.
If you do not remember password reminder question/answer or have other difficulties, send a message to Help Desk along with information such as your name, phone number, email etc. We will try to find your account based on the information you provide and send your password to the e-mail address we would have on our records.
If you do not remember Ad Id, send a message to
Help Desk along with information such as your User ID, name, phone number, email etc. We will try to find your account based on the information you provide and send your Ad ID to the e-mail address we would have on our records.
